SWAYE Launch Party

Last Thursday, I was very kindly invited to the launch of a new influencer marketing app called SWAYE in the beautiful garden in Opium on Wexford Street. SWAYE is a mobile app platform which allows brands and creatives to apply and join a private marketplace.
On arrival, guests were treated to a complimentary glass of Prosecco which I couldn’t possibly say no to!
Last Thursday, the fab Opium on Wexford Street played host to the launch of a new influencer app called SWAYE. SWAYE is an app where both brands and influencers can come together and work with each other. Andrew O’Neill, co-founder of SWAYE called it the ‘tinder of influencing’ . If you’re a business you can upload any deals or offers you have on as well as what kind of influencer (fashion, fitness etc) you’re looking for. If a particular influencer finds a deal and likes it, they can swipe right and start working together!

SWAYE was founded by Andrew O’Neill and Geoff Walker who were there to showcase the new app to guests. SWAYE is an application only, mobile platform that allows both brands and creatives to apply and join a private marketplace. Brands can post certain deals or offers that they’re offering and set criteria (specific following, theme etc) and if a relevant blogger likes it, they simply match with the brand and they can start working together! Co-founder Andrew O’Neill called it the ‘tinder of influencer marketing’

The company have big plans to expand into other markets and are already working with brands such as Pretty Little Thing to name but a few and are already active in Dubai, London, New York and Hong Kong! I wish I came up with the idea because I can see it being even more successful than it already is! You can check out all the cool features available on the app right here!
I’ve a few more events coming up so keep an eye out for more BTS event posts!
Don’t forget to follow me on all my social media which I’ve linked below!

Admin Alcohol & Afterparties

The last 6 weeks of my summer have consisted of admin, events and hangovers. I’m very lucky that my internship allows me to both help out at and attend these amazing events on behalf of our clients . So below, I’m going to go through all the events that I’ve gone to and what exactly I’ve been up to during the last few weeks.

PrettyLittleThing #SunSeaSlay

On the 7th of June, PrettyLittleThing launched their new ‘Love from the west coast’ collection in the beautiful Morgan Hotel Penthouse Suite in Temple Bar. This event was like no other as the CEO of PrettyLittleThing Umar Kamani came over especially for the launch , bringing no other than Coronation Street hunk Ryan Thomas with him! (Turns out the two are besties!) . The suite was amazing with some spectacular views right across the city from its roof terrace as well which added to the summery vibe!

Me and PrettyLittleThing CEO Umar Kamani

In the penthouse, the bedroom was turned into a gifting suite where you could select items from different rails and fill up a bag. Once you’d done that, you could go out to the living area where there was a FREE bar and some cool little bits like an embroidery station as well as a glitter station which seemed like a good idea at the time but little did I know, I’d STILL be finding glitter SIX WEEKS on from it…

The infamous glitter that I’m STILL finding…

After the glitter, I spent the rest of my night talking to some of my favorite bloggers and people in the media industry and I have to say, I had an absolute BALL! As if the night couldn’t get any better, the CEO of PrettyLittleThing invited us to party with him in Krystle nightclub on Harcourt Street. When we arrived there was an area for all of us and two big bottles of Grey Goose and mixers in a bucket!

The Greygoose made for an interesting hangover the next day…

Boohoo x Tyga press dinner

The FAB table settings for the dinner. I may have taken home both the big bunch of flowers and mini bundle…

On the 14th of June , Boohoo held a press dinner for the launch of their collection with Tyga. This was a more low-key event with a sit down dinner casual drinks on the terrace in The Woollen Mills which is such a beautiful place for an event – you’re quite literally in the middle of a busy city yet it couldn’t feel more relaxed and chill!

You’d be surprised how hard it is to get a picture of a balloon in the wind…

Jameson Bow St Sessions

Felt pretty official with one of these around my neck the whole night…

The Jameson Bow St Sessions was held in their newly refurbished distillery on Bow Street in Smithfield . On the night they had Irish talent such as  Daithi perform. I will admit I wasn’t looking forward to this event as I don’t have a massive interest in Irish music but I’m so glad I went as the atmosphere that night was amazing and just such a fun experience!

Really want a chandelier like this in any house I own in the future but maybe made of naggin bottles?🤔

Goss.ie 3rd birthday party

I lived the absolute Celtic Tiger dream when there was an invite sent around for the 3rd birthday party of entertainment site Goss.ie. It was held in Krystle nightclub with a free bar and had models, TV personalities and members of the wider Irish media in attendance ( hey 2007, how’ve you been??). The night was a lot of fun with fab people and fab music. I went away the next day and it’s safe to say travelling with a hangover on a flight with screaming toddlers isn’t an ideal combination…
That was pretty much everything I got up to over the last 4-6 weeks and was why I wasn’t as active on here as I would’ve liked to be!
