Hey everyone,
It’s definitely been awhile since we last spoke…
Since we last spoke I’ve graduated from DCU with a degree in Communications (finally!) , made some incredible friends and memories but the most important and probably biggest change has been that I now officially own my own company!
I’ve wanted to have my own business for as long as I can remember but never really knew in what area/field. It was only when I went for an interview for a role in which another role involving marketing and social media was suggested to me that I realised what I truly wanted.
After much consideration and more than enough overthinking I decided to set up Notionz Media – a social media management and marketing agency with a focus on the Irish hospitality market. As someone who has lived online the last ten or so years as well as worked in various hospitality settings for the last five, I realised that many businesses within this sector don’t take their social media presence seriously.
Luckily very soon after I started I gained two clients through a mutual connection I had. While this partnership only lasted three months, it really gave me an insight into how to not only run a business, but also what to expect from clients and what they should expect from me,
I will eventually do some form of social media post about the ins and outs of setting up and running a business .
So what’s next?
The whole reason for giving my website an overhaul and creating this post is that many creative roles require a portfolio which is something I initially thought I didn’t have… until I realised I’ve a whole website I’m paying for with over sever years worth of content on it…
My following posts will be examples of my work for both clients and my own personal work with brands.
Looking forward to bringing you all on this new and exciting journey with me.
Talk soon,
Conor
