Review: Sephora Red Clay Face Mask

Breadcrumb Navigation

Today’s post is going to be a review of the Sephora Red Clay face mask. I picked this and a few other products up when I was in the states in Sephora (obvs) and to be honest, I wasn’t too sure when or even if I’d try it out as I’ve learned over the years that my skin can be quite sensitive. However, I bit the bullet and tried out the face mask a few times and honestly? My skin has never felt better!

Sephora Face Masks

Sephora’s face masks are formulated with the perfect dose of clay and a selection of naturally sourced minerals in different colours. These different colored minerals are used to address specific skin concerns and are custom made for each skin types needs without leaving your face feeling dried out and tight!

How it works

The Red Clay mask is enriched with red clay and acerola extract which is of natural origin. The mask is designed to reduce visible signs of fatigue as well as awaken the tone of your skin and leaves it both feeling AND looking energised, refreshed and rested.

How to use it

To use the face mask, you simply apply it to the clean, skin and the best thing is, since it’s not a sheet mask, it can be used in specific areas that you want to work on or you can simply apply it to your full face!

Once you’ve applied it,simply wait 15 minutes for it to work its magic. After the 15 minutes are up, you then rinse your face with lukewarm water. Alternatively, you could do what I do and take the lazy mans approach and just wash it off while you have a shower!

My Opinion

As I mentioned above, I’m always quite cautious when it comes to using new products on my skin due to its sensitivity. One thing that I noticed was that the mask was not only easy to apply but also how light it feels when it’s drying on your skin!

I’ve been quite busy since I’ve come back from my holiday so naturally my skin was bound to show signs of fatigue at some point!

By using the mask, my skin feels AND looks amazing! I spent pretty much the whole day checking my face in my phones camera as I was worried I’d brake out or have some kind of reaction to it but all I noticed was how fresh and rejuvenated my skin looked!

I’d recommend these face masks but that’s pretty pointless as Sephora haven’t copped on to how popular they are in Ireland yet!

If you or a friend/relative are visiting a country that Sephora has a presence in , buy as many of these as you can as they’re only eight dollars (six euro) and have 4 uses in them so you won’t feel like you’ve plenty of chances to use it and have your skin look and feel amazing!

You can of course keep up to date with what I’m up to by following me on my other platforms which I’ve linked below!

Til next time,
